Terms of Service

Pinfolio is a portfolio analytics dashboard that displays holdings, performance and allocation information based on read-only data we receive from brokerages and brokerage aggregators you choose to connect.

Pinfolio is not a broker, an investment adviser, a custodian, or a regulated financial institution. We do not hold client funds, we do not execute trades, and we do not provide investment, tax or legal advice.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Pinfolio. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for keeping your Pinfolio login credentials and any broker API keys you connect confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You agree not to share your account with others, not to attempt to access another user's data, and not to probe, scan or otherwise attempt to compromise the service.

When you connect a broker you authorise Pinfolio to retrieve read-only data about your accounts on a recurring basis. Pinfolio cannot place trades, transfer funds, or change account settings at any broker.

The accuracy, freshness and completeness of the data we display depends on the broker or aggregator providing it. We make no warranty that the data is real-time, error-free, or complete. You should always verify critical numbers in your broker's own application before making any decision.

Anything you see in Pinfolio (charts, totals, percentages, benchmark comparisons, daily movers, sector breakdowns, written commentary) is provided for informational purposes only. None of it constitutes investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

We aim to keep Pinfolio available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice, including when upstream brokers or aggregators change or remove their APIs.

Pinfolio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Pinfolio, its operators or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or trading losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service, regardless of the legal theory.

You can stop using Pinfolio at any time and delete your account from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks the security or integrity of Pinfolio or other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
